Business Development Manager
Role summary
Own mid?to?large B2B accounts, close enterprise deals, manage negotiation and onboarding, and grow revenue from target segments
(construction contractors, developers, institutional buyers).
Key responsibilities
* Identify, pitch, and close accounts in target verticals.
* Build proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and manage post?sale relationships.
* Coordinate with delivery, procurement, and operations for SLA adherence.
* Create sales forecasts and pipeline reports for founders.
Must?have
* 3–8 years B2B sales experience; proven closure record; contacts in construction, real estate, or institutional procurement.
* Strong negotiation, proposal writing, and CRM discipline.
* Comfortable with field meetings and stakeholder presentations.
Compensation (guide)
* Base: ?40,000–80,000/month; Variable: aggressive commission + milestone bonuses.
* Longer notice acceptable; performance-based incentives.
30/90?day KPIs
* 30 days: 10 qualified enterprise leads.
* 90 days: 50 onboard professionals; pipeline ? 6x monthly quota.
